Staff is fantastic.
There are two hotels both in Gros and it is rather confusing. I thought I was staying at the one across from Kursaal but it was the other one. That was a little disappointing.

The hotel was very well located to all the important areas & within easy walking distance. It is located in a quiet area would suggest you request a rear room as the front rooms can be effected by the rail noise. The staff were very friendly & spoke English well & were able to direct you to the local sights.it is very close to the 2 local beaches & very close to the old part of town with the famous lanes & tapas bars. It is also very close to the main inter city rail station. Unfortunately the breakfast service was not available during our stay but there were plenty of cheap eating places close by. All in all a nice hotel to spend a 3 night stay

Great.. in a quite location a short easy 10 min stroll to the old town for Tapas heaven! Very friendly staff who speak very good English (for us Gringo's!) and bend over backwards to be accommodating to all the visitors needs and requests. Highly recommended and impressed.
not much really, other than try not to get a ground floor room as you will hear the door buzzer go off late at night if people are coming in from a nite out. No real deal breaker for me as i'd happily return.

We were assigned a suite which was very comfortable. The hotel keeps a parking spot outside the front door for unloading luggage.
It was difficult to find on very busy, one-way streets. Parking was at a parking garage about 6 blocks away and it was not convenient. The hotel is a little far from the tourist area, walkable however.

Anyone staying at this hotel would be doing themselves a big favour. Perfectly quiet central location in a beautifully equipped and furnished apartment and spotlessly clean. Will be returning!

Rooms were very clean and it was very quiet - a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city
A little clinical - not much of the personal touch

Friendly, helpful staff. Location was in the city centre, but in a quieter part, more local, with vegetarian restaurant close by (end of Corta/Korta). Five minute walk to the Zurriola beach, 5-7 minute walk to the main street, Boulevard.

We wanted a quiet off the path location within easy walking distance to Parte Vieja. Arrizul Gros met our expectation. Room was clean and functional. We chose a place with few amenities and got an unexpected bonus of free and delicious morning coffee, milk, orange juice, and packaged cup cake, and bottled water. All of the expensive hotels we stayed at charged for wi-fi but not Arrizul Gros. Miss San Sebastian already!!
Did not like having to pay for the room at booking time. My credit card guarantee should have sufficed.

The staff was very helpful and their suggestions were great A very small but very clean room with a laundry mat across the the hotel. We would stay their again
You had to make your own coffee in the lobby but their were a lot of coffee shops very close

It was very clean and definitely eco-friendly! It took us a bit of time to figure out how to turn on the lights :) It is in a convenient location and good value for the money.
It would have been nice to have coffee available earlier than 7:30am and to be able to take it to your room. Fresh fruit would have been nice too.

Our room had everything we needed - we were there for a short two day break. The room was one of their more basic but we were there to see the city and pintxo bars so spent little time in the room and were happy with the price we payed. Upon arrival the reception was increadibly helpful and enthusiastic about advising us of the best pintxo bars to visit and about their food/culture and other things to see around the city!
